A Welcome Note

There is nothing more amazing in life than the discovery of new ideas and gaining knowledge that did not exist in the mind before its inception. The next step is to use that learned knowledge and create a new or an improved idea that will further increase our knowledge. My discovery of a computer has struck me as the greatest knowledge in today's world. Ever since I have had access to a computer I have wanted to understand the connection between the software and the hardware. I have installed thousands of applications on computers, different operating systems, messed around with commands in the terminal, written code using many languages, and written assembly code to get as close to discovering every avenue within a computer. And that only scratches the surface of what is a computer. As I have come to discover the possibilities are endless and the creations are infinite. On top of it all the computer is always evolving as if it were a living organism. One day they will be part of everything, even part of us and it can already be seen in today's world. I want to create a stronger connection between the two and I want to advance the human species with my knowledge of computer science.

  1. It is great you have found a passion which truly motivates and challenges you. The curiosity you suggest seems to have led you in a good direction with regards to truly learning and becoming a master in the field. It is good that you understand that technology is always improving therefore it is important for you to grow concurrently. The examples you give such as learning assembly code and learning multiple language paradigms is the best way to truly learn and think like a computer. Hardware which you describe as an interest is often encapsulated by programmers who tend to ignore it, but your thirst for knowledge and how it relates will surely benefit you in the long run.

Your goal to advance the field of computer science is very great maybe you could elaborate on that a little more ? Do you want to create a new branch of the computer science or just develop applications that will better mankind ? Either way it is clear you have chosen a good path and seem to be enjoying it!
